A hidden gem. One of a kind food from a great staff of chefs, hosts, and servers who quickly become friends. The menu changes each time you go in, so the food is always fresh and exciting. Head chef Mike has a true gift for pairing flavors and textures. Wonderful restaurant! If you ever get the chance to enjoy one of their 3 course played dinner nights, DO IT! You will applaud this cafe by the night's end!

Food and atmosphere both get 4 stars. TLDR; ask server for help with food selection. Seasonal items are either amazing or simply adequate. Good place to chat with a friend. There isn't a huge selection, but you're sure to find something you like if you're not picky. Looks like you can make your own charcuterie board by mixing different preserves, cheeses, and cured meats ($2.5 each) or get a reasonably priced seasonal menu item ($6-$9). I got 'bison tavern,' which was a ground bison meat sandwich, and came with pub fries and pickles. Nothing about the flavor was striking to me, but everything was fine. Service was excellent, and I couldn't help but admire the wooden walls and painted tin ceiling. Good place for a quick bite.

I almost gave up on finding palatable food in Sioux Falls until this simple lunch. Everything exceeded expectations, including the canned Italian lemon soda! Nice people, good food, quirky building...who needs more?

Nice lunch place. Had the HUEVOS, good and fresh but needs a kick in the ass. Wifey had had the savory crepe which was very good. Service outstanding. Downtown SF has it goin on.

Great lunch stop in the heart of downtown. Sioux Falls. I had the savory ham crepe with a field greens salad on the side. There was an option to add an egg to it, but I didn't. After talking with the cook/chef (counter style seating in open kitchen), I know I will add the egg next time. The soup looked good too (white bean and prosciutto) but that'll also have to wait until my next visit. I would offer a few more sandos if it were my place, but the things they do offer they nail. I'll be back.

My second home. Casual and comfy while boasting an incredible selection of fresh and quality ingredients. Both the BOH and FOH staff are some of the best in the biz. All of the thumbs-ups.

Great breakfast. Looks like most ingredients are local and change throughout the season. Good coffee and some excellent jam.

MB Haskett is on their game! I've been here more than I should for only living in SF a few months. Their sandwiches and soups never disappoint and the one prix fixe meal I had was delicious! They can get a bit pricy, but it's worth it most of the time.

Ouch! It pains me to write this review, but this place was positively awful. Expensive, fake-friendly staff, terrible seating arrangement, an awkward nightmare to order to-go food but worst of all was the quality of the food. I'm still in shock as I write this. To name a few of the reasons I went 1 star: Coffee counter waitress forgot to give me my coffee while I waited and then forgot to give it to me with my to-go order, but hey who cares about that as it was nasty tasting anyway. I couldn't even drink it. The quinoa bean soup was probably the worst tasting soup I have ever had in my life. The overbearing fake smoke flavor made me gag. The muffaletta sandwich tasted downright strange and was not categorized as muffaleta (very very skimpy on the proschetta/meat). The cucumber salad was very boring consisting of just cucumbers and a few cherry tomatoes in vinegar but I cant complain because it was at least edible. Please don't get me started on the quiche. It was pitiful and not edible What really made me chuckle was the side "salad" that came with the "muffaletta" There was no dressing on it. Just plain lettuce. I'm still giggling and still hungry. Time to step up for game Mr. Haskett :(

First rate! Love the out of the ordinary menu and superb food, full of flavor and healthy. The salads especially good.

Whatever their daily special is tends to be my 'go-to' for lunch. There are lots of options to eat when downtown and working downtown, I go to my share. But this is one of my favorites. Staff is always friendly and genuine and the quality and price of their menu can't be beat. The new renovations look great!

I feel healthy every time I'm done eating at MB Haskett. I end up eating here once a week because it is so good and the menu changes every day based on what's fresh. I highly recommend!

The menu changes with the seasons. The ingredients are fresh when you want them fresh and cured when you want them cured. The staff is hip (tattoos, cultural relevance, you know what I mean) while remaining friendly and receptive. And all of these things together provide reliably rustic food, great brunches, an end to hungry stomachs, and very happy mouths. Seventeen thumbs up.

We may have had a better sandwich than the Muffaletta in our lifetime, but since we can't remember it gets the number one spot. The Savory crepe gets top marks as well. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

We stopped recently on a trip through Sioux Falls based upon the reviews we read on Yelp. We ordered a combination of sandwiches and crepes. We had a party of eight. While the food was good, it was not great and the preparation time was unacceptable. Our order was carry out and we waited at least 45 minutes for our order. It this was some type of a fancy gourmet meal, I would've had no issue but for lunch it was too long.

A little slice of Brooklyn in Sioux Falls. A nice no frills breakfast place with good staff. We just got a quiche and some coffee but both were good and not being in a greasy diner was good. If you are in SF this is a great place for a quiet, healthy breakfast.

Fantastic service and decadent breakfast at a nice price. The poached eggs were perfect and the baked Brie was heaven.

Staff is hip and friendly. Atmosphere is mellow and chill with good jams in the background. The coffee is tasty and full bodied without being overpowering and their coffee condiment bar is snazzy. Their food is fresh and you can see them in action with your meal with their open kitchen bar. I came on Sunday and we had an amazing bread pudding french toast and a shrimp & grits with sausage and peppers. It was amazing! Very filling! Will come back again!

Looking for a delicious breakfast, amazing coffee, and a comfortable space to catch up with friends and family? This is this place. Haskett's has my favorite coffee, best poached eggs, and great bread from a local baker. Saturday and Sunday can get busy, but it's busy for a reason. Definitely check out their Facebook page for weekend dinner specials. Three delicious courses and great beer and wine. Check it out!

Yummy, yummy. Awesome find. The only person in our party who didn't like his food was an 8 year old who's the pickiest eater in the world.

We stopped by here on the way to the airport. First time in Sioux Falls. Great lunch spot. Very seasonal and fresh ingredients.

Haskett's the best new sandwich and coffee shop in Sioux Falls. It is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch, or an after work drink. The coffee is top-notch. The bread-pudding french toast is a must for breakfast. The space is great and the staff is very friendly.

Weekend three-course dinner exceptional. Started with a pumpkin ravioli with a tasty sauce; walleye with a great beurre blanc; wonderful apple crisp for dessert. This casual, unassuming shop is one of the best in Sioux Falls.

Stopped with the brood to support one of Robyn's old friends. Considering how picky kids can be, its amazing they both want to come back. Good job!
